GMDR
Ground Modular Data Recorder
Fast and Flexible System for Ground Station Applications
Details
The Ground Modular Data Recorder (GMDR) is a scalable platform for acquiring, recording, distributing and replaying flight-test instrumentation data at the ground station. Its modular architecture accepts different interface and video requirements, enabling systems to be configured for a compact local installation or a broader range infrastructure. GMDR supports baseband recording and replay as well as data dissemination and IRIG 106 Chapter 7 demultiplexing workflows. Safran also identifies compatibility between GMDR solid-state media and MDR airborne recorders, simplifying post-flight transfer and analysis. Exact storage capacity, module mix and network interfaces are selected for the project configuration.
