Comtrack

Comtrack is Safran Data Systems’ compact single-axis tracking antenna for lightweight or mobile telemetry ground stations. Its integrated phased-array autotracking architecture is designed to follow airborne test articles while keeping the installation smaller than conventional large-aperture antennas. Safran lists reception in L, S or C band and an operating geometry extending from zenith toward low-elevation tracking, with published mission ranges up to approximately 150 kilometres depending on configuration and link conditions. The ruggedized form factor supports temporary ranges, mobile deployments and local flight-test campaigns where rapid setup and a modest site footprint are important.
