Sparte 500

Sparte 500 is Safran Data Systems’ medium-aperture, dual-axis tracking antenna family for demanding telemetry reception. Published variants use approximately 4.6-metre or 5.5-metre reflectors, providing a balance between gain, transportability and site requirements. The platform can be supplied on a skid or trailer for mobile use, and three-axis versions are available for shipborne operation where vessel motion must be compensated. Safran also describes field-upgrade paths for C-band support. The antenna can be integrated with receivers, RF feeds and centralized control software as part of a complete telemetry ground station.
