Cortex CRT

Cortex CRT is Safran Data Systems’ commercial off-the-shelf modem for satellite command, control and housekeeping communications. It is designed to support spacecraft throughout their lifecycle, including manufacturing, integration and test, launch preparation and routine in-orbit operations. The Cortex architecture can be delivered in different form factors, including integrated hardware and virtualized software configurations, allowing the ground segment to match different station and redundancy strategies. Its software-defined approach is intended to accommodate evolving mission requirements while retaining a common operational environment. Final waveform, interface and redundancy selections are configured for the specific spacecraft and ground-system architecture.
