Overview

Exail polarization-maintaining coils are the core sensing element of a fiber-optic gyroscope, directly affecting its sensitivity, bias stability and accuracy. Every coil is tailored to customer specifications covering fiber type, length, winding technique and mechanical design; precision winding with process control delivers uniform optical characteristics and minimal polarization crosstalk. Coils can be wound from PM or SM fibers.
