Variable Optical Delay Line (VODL)

Overview

The Exail Variable Optical Delay Line (VODL) provides highly precise and stable control of optical delay up to 12 ns, with longer ranges on request. Delay is continuously adjusted with a micrometer screw in the manual version or with a motorized actuator in the piloted version. The patented free-space construction is insensitive to misalignment.
