Neodymium Doped Fibers
Overview
Exail neodymium aluminosilicate double-clad fibers are engineered for maximum efficiency through a precisely controlled host composition. Compared to a standard Nd fiber, 1.06 µm emission is reduced through careful design — ideal for 0.9 to 1.064 µm lasers and 10xx nm seeder sources.
Key features
- Host composition optimized for high-energy efficiency and low clustering
- Low splicing losses
- High NA with high-performance low-index cladding
- Low background losses
- Low macrobending losses at operating wavelength
Specifications
- Operation band: 0.9 to 1.064 µm
Applications
- 0.9–1.064 µm fiber lasers
- Seeder sources at 10xx nm
- Blue light generation research
