Erbium Doped Fibers
Overview
Exail erbium doped fibers power the amplification of optical transmission signals in EDFAs with low noise figure and flat gain shape. The range covers 1.5 µm lasers and amplifiers, includes PM Panda structures, 80 µm reduced-cladding options on request, and double-clad erbium fibers with 30 to 100 µm cores for hundreds of watts of operation.
